our mission

The main objective of transdermal drug delivery system is to deliver drugs into the systemic circulation through the skin at a predetermined rate with minimal inter and intra patient variation. Transdermal drug delivery is quickly becoming one of the most promising methods for drug application that potentially can replace the current conventional methods. TDD greatly reduces the load that the oral route commonly places on the digestive tract and liver, specifically, it bypasses the first-pass hepatic metabolism. As compared to hypodermic needles, microneedle patches can penetrate into the Stratum Corneum at a pre-determined depth where there are minimal nerve endings, making the process painless and also significantly enhancing patient. Furthermore, due to its minimally invasive nature, patients can engage in self-administering drugs, making it convenient for drugs that require periodic application.
